The SW Florida Section represents the Florida ASLA members that practice and live in Charlotte, Glades, Hendry, Collier and Lee Counties.
Section events are generally organized on a quarterly basis with unique opportunities within the Southwest Florida community more frequently as they occur and may be scheduled. These additional events allow us to join our parallel professional colleagues in social and educational events or participate in community service days. These also become included in our activities due to the schedule of the organizing group such as career days within our local school districts.

Our goal is to continue to strengthen the presence and leadership of the profession within our community. We also look to directly return to the members the benefits of ASLA membership, opportunities for professional growth and fun in both a personal and professional manner in our ASLA events.

Section Events:

Our next educational opportunity to come together is currently a work in progress and is developing itself in co-participation with the local APA chapter for a Low Impact Development seminar in Charlotte County in April. Additionally in late March and April the Section has pending events for Educational and Career outreach, National Landscape Architecture Month celebrations/proclamations as well as a variety of Clean up days within the Counties represented in our Section.
