 DBPR #: 9118
Successful construction of trail systems requires an understanding of the complex process of trail building.  Landscape architects provide an effective mix of planning, design, problem solving and consensus building skills required to meet this challenge.  The SR 207 trail tour will show every step of the process, first hand, from Palatka to St. Augustine.  A portion of this tour will be conducted on the SR 207 Trail and offer a first hand look at its many features.

re:connecting – Interpreting History in a Living City
DBPR #: 9117

Understanding heritage tourism allows the City of St. Augustine to create an ‘organized visitor experience’ for the over 4 million tourists per year that visit the community.  The tour will utilize a series of heritage tourism projects as the ribbon that guides visitors to the areas resources.  The tour will demonstrate planning and design techniques that are historically, culturally, and economically sustainable.
Fred Halback, FASLA and Sharon H. Fowler, ASLA
